Chapter Eternal

Lee R. Anderson ’65 entered Chapter Eternal on September 28, 2016. Lee worked as a teacher and coach in the St. John and Federal Way School districts. He was inducted into the Federal Way Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013 and retired from teaching after 38 years. He enjoyed golf, running, traveling, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and three grandchildren, as well as good friends.

Leroy F. Hale ’47 received the Inspiration award at SAE in 1947 and was an honorary member of the National Collegiate Radio Guild. He was also a part of Sigma Delta Chi, Sinfonia, and Crimson Circle. Lee lives in Beverly Hills, Calif.


Richard A. Johnson ’56 attended the 60th reunion in 2012 and is interested in knowing who’s attending the 65th reunion in 2017. Dick retired in 1987 as a construction consultant and has lived in various places, including Arizona and Sublimity, Ore. E-mail:

Arthur I. Goodfellow ’58 has met with his architectural class of 1958 annually for the past 45 years. Two years ago, the group endowed a $1,000 scholarship and hopes to award another one in the future. Bill and his wife, Dee, live in Seattle, Wash.


Richard W. Stephan ’60 is living on the second fairway of the Bermuda Dunes Country Club in California. Dick spent 40 years in the information technology industry, starting as a computer programmer in 1061. During the 1970s and early 1980s, he spent 12 years officiating high school and college basketball. E-mail:


James M. Yassick ’69 is looking to retire from dentistry in July 2017. James enjoys flying, fishing, and bird hunting.
